Now, we are not talking about the variety of costumes nurse hot here. For the truly gruesome (and more) of the public, however, a convincing costume must meet certain standards of expectation. For example, the reality is that physicians and nurses deal with the blood on a daily basis. What's more horrible? To achieve realism, with ketchup as blood is not enough. Some even to buy the fake blood used in film systems, but you can certainly harder to clean, it looks authentic.
For extra authenticity accessories with the right equipment - stethoscope, otoscope - can still improve the actual appearance. But do not go out of beaten track to get the real thing because they are expensive, highly specialized tools. The caveat is that if you can find someone to give broken or obsolete equipment. There are many costume accessories kits available at a fraction of the cost. There are also a few recipes online for fabricating large body parts and guts with gelatin and a half.
If you choose to convert a couple of layers of old age or lab coat in a Halloween costume with the necessary adjustments, make sure the object you are using is not a lab coat or scrubs modern.
